I have received a lot of inquiries regarding a web site called Christian Opportunities Online and whether it is a scam. I hope people are not confusing this blog which is The Online Christian Business Opportunity Blog with this other web site. This site is dedicated to helping Christians be successful at making money with an online business or work at home business. I have written before about Christian opportunities online scam and you can check out that post. I don’t know anything about this other site but since so many people have asked me about it I am going to check it out.
I visited the site today in order to find out what they are offering. They have some very nice graphics and there is a lot of copy about how you can love life again and how you can make money working from home. Interestingly, they don’t say you can make money they say, “would you like to earn *1000’s working from home?”
A skeptic might ask 1000’s of what because they have replaced the $ (dollar sign) with an * (asterisk). It would make one wonder what they really mean.
No where on the site does it say what the business opportunity is. To me, this is always a red flag. If they won’t tell you anything about the business it makes a person wonder what they are trying to hide. There is also a disclaimer that this is a home-based business opportunity and not a job. Maybe they have promised something before and didn’t deliver, I don’t know.
Don’t get me wrong. I am not saying there are not legitimate Christian online businesses offered online. And this may be one of them. I am just reporting what I see on the website. I try to steer clear of people who have the next greatest make money scheme but they can’t tell me what it is unless I sign up or give them my email.
This site not only wants your email address (which they will use to send you information) they also want your phone number. I don’t know about you but I have had a lot of scams, Christian or not, who have called me trying to sell me the moon. Generally, when you give out your phone number you are asking for a lot of high pressure sales calls coming from boiler rooms. I don’t know that this will happen if you give your phone number here but I wonder.
I think the best thing to do would be to give them my information and see what I can find out about their Christian Opportunity Online. I hope it is a legitimate business that can offer Christians a way to make money online with a legitimate Christian business. I will report back in a future post what I find out. In the mean time I don’t know if Christian Opportunity Online is a scam or not.

I dont think there are any legitimate christian home business.if there is why dont the post their links on a legitimate secured site that checks on the reliability of home businesses.they abuse the word”christian” to get what they want.If I can find a christian business thayt is legitimate legal and free I could help my ministry and my family.are there any miracles out there?
I think the problem may be how you are looking at the idea of a Christian business. I think most any business can be Christian centered as long as it follows the teachings of Our Lord. I believe you could have a Christian bakery, or Christian restaurant. It really has to do with how you do business and what your motivation is.
