When you hear about people advertising Google Online Jobs then you would naturally think that you could get a real job working for Google at home. This may be possible in a few instances, but in general what these websites are doing is trying to make you think they have an insight as to how to work for Google. The truth is they don’t. These sites will not get you any online Google jobs. What they are trying to sell you is a program that will teach you how to set up a business that uses Google’s search engine to get customers to your site. This is a very legitimate business model for website owners but it is definitely not the same as getting an online job with the search engine and marketing giant.
Naturally, when you think about getting a job you think that you will get a regular pay check and that you will know exactly what you need to do to get that check every week or two weeks. Even if you are working on commission you will still know exactly what the payment will be on the number of items or programs you sold. This is not how building a web site based on using search traffic works. You would be a business man or woman if you went this route, not an employee. There are a lot of Internet business opportunities out there for people who want to start their own business but this is different that developing an employment contract.
The basic model for this sort of website is really easy to understand. First, you determine some need or want that people have which you can fulfill. This can be with a product or service or maybe just an ebook with information. Next, you can set up your own site or you can start a web blog on one of the free platforms like Blogger. On this site you write some posts about your solution and why it would be good for your visitors. Next, this is the Google part, you work on Search Engine Optimization so that the search engines can find you and they will rank your site link high up on the results page when someone searches for the product or solution that you are offering.
There are many things that go into developing a high ranking but the three main ones are the content that is on your site. That is, do you talk about what you are advertising? The number of links you have pointing to your site from other Internet properties and the anchor text that those links have. The anchor text is the words that are highlighted which you click on to go to another page on a website or even another site. Optimizing these three factors are what tells Google or Bing or Yahoo that your website is really about what you say it is and that it will solve the problem that the searcher has.
There are a lot of people who make money with this online business model. I mean a lot of people making a lot of money, but it is not a real job that treats them like an employee with all the benefits that go along with that. Instead, it is a business and you may succeed or you may fail. This is just like in any other business.
If you are thinking about buying a program that makes you think you will actually be getting a job with one of these companies then be very careful. And don’t give them any money until you know exactly what you are getting in return.
