You can make money with online business opportunities and you can be very successful but it will take some work. I know, the Guru’s all say you can give them $995 or $1995 and they will show the “secret” to unbelievable wealth. Well it is unbelievable wealth that is true but it is for the Guru’s not for you. On online business is just like anything else in life. If you want to be successful you will have to learn the methods and then, more importantly, apply them.
I used to think that some people were just born to be successful with an online internet business opportunity. You know like it is in their genes or something. I now realize this is not true. All successful people work at their craft and that is why they are successful. This includes people who are successful with an online work at home business like you are looking for. If you are looking for a legitimate Christian online business then most definitely find the best one possible but once you have your vehicle you must drive it across the success finish line. You can’t just let it sit in the driveway and expect riches to flow your way.
This idea of some people being born to success reminds me of a story about Frank Sinatra. For you young people he was a very famous singer in the middle of the last century. He was smooth and always seemed at ease in front of the audience. In this story another singer is set to go on after Frank. Frank goes out and does his routine and looks natural and at ease the whole time. Like he was born to sing and be famous. When he was done and came backstage he sat down in the wings breathing hard and the sweat pouring off his brow. The other singer realized Frank Sinatra had to work extremely hard to make it look like he was not working hard. Although he had natural singing talents, Frank put in the effort required to turn those God given attributes into success. It is the same with you and your online Christian business opportunity business.
You may find a great program for your online business, and I suggest you do find a template that will work for you. But that is the easy part. The hard part is then taking that good idea and putting the effort in to actually find success. You have to do the work and no one else can do it for you.
Online Business Opportunities
When I started for a Christian online home business opportunity I found a lot of good templates that could be used to build a strong business. But none of the ones that really worked could be implemented in a few days or weeks. As I looked at the successful people on the web I realized that it is not really a get rich quick medium. The only people who tell you that are people who are trying to get rich quick by taking your money. There is not opportunity online that will allow you to quit your job in a week and lay on the beach watching the waves roll in.
Christian home businesses and a Christian Internet business are the same as any other business. You must be dedicated, work hard, and continue to learn new ideas and tactics in order to be successful. I was listening to webinar the other day by Howie Schwartz. Howie is very successful on the internet but he understands there is work involved and he does the work. A woman called in and asked Howie what is the best way to make $1000 on the internet next week. He said there is no way. You can not expect to make that kind of money until you lay the foundation necessary to get customers and convert those customers into buyers. You can not do that in a week.
Don’t let this discourage you. There are thousands of legitimate online business opportunities you can pursue that are potential money makers. You just need to do the footwork. This is actually a good thing because the majority of the people who want to be internet entrepreneurs will give the effort needed or any effort for that matter. They want an online Christian business but they don’t want to do anything really to get there. This means the possibilities are absolutely amazing for someone who is willing to the work. The internet is ready to explode and it is crying for people who want to provide goods and services to a hungry audience.
Online Business Opportunity Timeline
From what I have seen this is a realistic time line if you want to develop a legitimate Christian online business. If you understand that you won’t get rich overnight it is much easier to stick with it and build the foundation you need for your success. Will most of you do it? Frankly, no. The majority of people who read this will never be successful for the simple fact that they don’t really want to put any effort in. If your still with me then let’s look at what it will take.
First you will spend 6 months to a year finding a vehicle that you will be willing to put the time into. You will read about many different systems during that time and even try to apply a few but you will not really have your heart in it. I suggest you look at many different models during this time and see what seems to be working. You don’t have to spend a lot of money because there is an unimaginable amount of free information to be found. The Guru’s are realizing that people are getting skeptical about spending a few thousand dollars on courses. These guys are forced to offer more and more free stuff to get people interested in what they have to offer. Sign up for all the free email courses because most of the information is very good. Just don’t buy any programs yet.
After searching out prospective online business opportunities you will find one you are really interested in. You will start working the plan and dreaming of all the money it will bring in. Then you will hit the wall at about two months. One day you will wake up and ask yourself why you are working so hard. You have put all these hours in and are making almost no money. This is the second place where people drop out of the internet marketing game. They were willing to do some work but they don’t have the staying power to keep going. They give up and say the internet doesn’t work.
I heard a very successful internet marketer say the other day he wishes he could buy all the websites that people get to two months on and then quit. He knows that the timeline to success is longer but that these people are really close to making it work. If you start your Christian home based business opportunity do not stop at two months. You are really close to making a go of it.
So you get past two months and keep working. At six months you will start to see some real success. You will wake up one day and say, “Hey this really works. I can see how I can build this into a full time income.” Now you are unstoppable because you smell the success that is possible online. Now you are working the business because you are excited again. The possibilities are endless and you are on your way.
A quick note. During the six month incubation period you can’t just let your business sit there. Working on your online Christian business opportunity for six months does not mean you build a web site or blog in the first two weeks and then do nothing for the next five months. The success you see after six months is not magic. It will come from continuing to work your business plan. For example, you will need to be adding more content to your site, doing SEO (search engine optimization) to get visitors to your site, and finding ways to monetize the visitors you do get. Expect to spend at least one hour a day, and preferable more, working your business. It will feel like you have another job because you do. But unlike your current dead end job, a successful online business can give you unlimited opportunities.
A word about scams. There are a lot of unscrupulous people on the web. Like any scam you can spot them by their offer. If they are offering big riches for nothing or very little in return be careful. This is how all classic scams are operated. You can spot a Christian business scam by watching for the people who say you can get rich with out any real work. It just doesn’t work that way.
Do you want to build an online business? If you do you must realize it will be work. There will be many days where you will not want to go on. But don’t give up. Keep slogging away and you will get there. If you absolutely can’t take it any more then go ahead and lay the work aside for a day. Get some rest. But be sure to get started again the next day. Online business opportunities abound you just have to do the foot work required to be successful.
